Palmersports - new car for 2011

I've driven the JP1 twice and it was utterly mind-blowing, so something
sounds, erm, not bad. Sign me up!
...faster in a straight line, has revised gear ratios, improved suspension and grip, more downforce and less drag to reduce wind resistance.

Caterham might put into production their latest offering: a Radical-esque trackday toy.
Looks a bit like a SR4 and has a 305PS supercharged motor (345PS with its "push to pass" button engaged ). Weighs only 545kg, so rivals the Radical SR3 Turbo's stats...
How does a touted £60k grab yer, though.

Looks better than the old one, especially the seats, which allowed me to get thrown everywhere.

Can individuals do these Palmer Sport days/half days or is it only for the corporate/group bookings?
How "experienced" would you say you have to be to go on one of these days??...... I have done racing before, karting, short oval and some other driving experiences (single seaters etc) but nothing like those things though (Have had a couple of scoobs too ).
Plus it looks like they actually get you to drive quickly, if you know what I mean.

Anyone can book. And they will take bookings for one. Best if you can find friends to go with so you can 'compete'!!!
Talent is from complete novice. If you have a race license then need to get written permission to drive (you can but there is an insurance CYA to be attended to).

Thanks for the info. I don't have a race license any more so that should be no problem.
Think most of my mates are too tight to pay out for this, lol.
Nice to see they don't mind you driving "quick", well what you/I consider quick. Not like the general experience days where you have rev limits etc.

Palmersport is fun for what its worth, but most people would learn a whole lot more spending a day in one car learning to drive it properly, in my opinion.
