Default Reflexology/Accupressure for Inducing Labour

Hi guys,

Wife is currently 7 days overdue now and wanted to do some reflexology/accupressure at home to try and induce naturally. Has anybody tried this and what do you recommend? There are quite a few youtube videos and we've tried a few suggestions but wanted to know what has worked for others

Cheers

I have reflexology quite a lot and some practitioners won't treat you if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant.

So when looking round, really really make sure you stipulate your lady's situation to save going and being turned away.

Hope it helps!

lol tried the 'seeing-to' method

I'm getting really impatient now - it's like waiting for a delivery from the catalogue, you know it's coming but can't rely on the postie lol

Hot curry works a treat.
We had company the night before my Son came into the world. Hot curry and a bloody good laugh. I went into labour at 4am.
Damn shame it took until 4am the day after to finally give birth.

she's had rasperry leaf tea 2-3 times each day - apparently it helps for during labour but not to bring it on.

We've tried hot curries but then I think they could be spicier. I thought that was an old wives tale anyway?

Running out of ideas now and she is getting impatient too lol

Have they not gave you a induction date yet?

My advice is don't look down there when the head is on it's way out, I wish I never did
