Default Has anyone used this Apple Nano website ?

I presume its got nothing to do with apple, i can't even find any contact details and a page that gives info on the company etc. Its probably a yank site somewhere, all prices are in GB which throws you a bit.

Thanks lads, i was hoping one of the website experts would come along and confirm it looked as dodgy as it appears, no contact details etc.

One thing i can never understand with google, that company appears at the top of their searches, surely if they are known to be as dodgy as sin then why do google allow them to appear on their search list especially at the top.

Just curious, when does that company appear at the top of Google search. I tried 'iPod Nano' and 'iPod Nano Sales' and didn't see it.

One reason could be that your results are being spiked by Malware.

As far as i'm aware my pc is free of malware, i use kaspersky which seems to be very good and i use spybot search and destroy.

Rob_Impreza99, if you were unable to spot that was a fake, then it is best to stick with brands online you know and trust such as high street retailers or trusted online sellers such as amazon etc. Amazon seem to have really competitive prices on most thnigs.

The above in no way meant as an insult, but that site shouted RUNAWAY! the moment I looked at it, before I did I whois on it.

I had already presumed it was fake from the shoddy, basic state of the website plus no contact info, i just wanted it confirming from posters on here that understand a whois search better than i do. I was more curious as to how google allow sites like that to appear at the top of their rankings on a search when the only thing that company seems to be interested in is ripping people off.

It's not at the top of their rankings, it's a paid for advert and just like Google we don't know if they're legit or not. The good thing is you're not having results injected into your searches.

I'm just suprised that google allow such dodgy ads to be at the top of their searches, they may as well let George Agdgdgwngo set up a basic web page and then pay for it to be at the top of their banking searches withe the web page just saying "Give me your bank account number and sort code" in basic black text on a white background with his email address underneath so you can send him your bank details.

Hi JayBird - how did you find this info? I would love my wife / daughter to check website details prior to handing out card details! We've already been stung a couple of times. Most recently for £3,600
