It has been a difficult week but certainly constructive for me.

Was a busy day at home yesterday as well as we had a new front door put in, a fancy 5 lever deadlock so that will keep out the pikeys and undesirables and a new washing machine was delivered and plumbed in yesterday as well.

All whilst I was at work

So now Mrs Swiss can do some work for a change

“Well, there’s good news and bad news. The bad news is that Neil will be taking over both branches, and some of you will lose your jobs. Those of you who are kept on will have to relocate to Swindon, if you wanna stay. I know, gutting. On a more positive note, the good news is, I’ve been promoted, so....every cloud. You’re still thinking about the bad news aren’t you?”

Fancy 5 lever deadlock door to keep all the Mrs Swiss admirers at bay more like.

You would never expect her to use a washing machine would you?

Well, I have had some good news, I am not being made redundant! Though it's a bit woolly as to where I'm now going to be based... Plus, because my salary has been realigned and gone up by more than £1K, I am going to be put on 12 months probation!!! Surely they can't do that... Can they? Our usual probation periods are 6 months, so a bit weird if you ask me

Been a not so good week.
-Solicitors dragging their feet with house purchase
-Work really busy which is great as my pay review is next month
-Mrs is 10 days late!
-Nan is not well and will probably not make next week doctor says

So all in all, my head is all over the place at the moment.

Well I was going to have a bonfire party with my 50 closest pals this weekend, but it looks like it's been put on hold :-(

Crappy week here too. I'm more looking forward to Saturday though, as today I'm going to a funeral for the baby of a very good friend of mine. Horrible.
Work is slow too, roll on next week!

Sorry to hear others have had as bad a week (or worse), think I'll do the lotto tonight, ya never know, it might be time for some good karma (drinks on me if I win!! )
