scoobzal - another scammer
Sense now seen, and an amicable, if not ideal, solution reached.

That sucks mate, he really should have kept proof of postage (if he did genuinely send it back to you).
However, if it had been me I wouldn't have refunded him until I'd received the boss back and checked out whether it fitted or not.
In a situation like that I would have asked him for photo's of the ill fitting boss in place too.
One thing I always do with items I sell is make a tiny mark on them so if I did get something returned I would be able to identify it.
Hindsight is always 20/20 though, hope you get it back.

How do you work that out, he's had boss and he has had his money back. He cannot prove he posted it back, if he could it would be easy and he could refund me once he had made the claim from Royal Mail. If he claimed to have never received it I would have claimed the money back off Royal Mail having kept the proof of posting and refunded him.

Moral of the story & the many others on here must be to pick stuff up yourself & only pay for it when satisfied? You'll have less items to purchase I guess due to location albeit better chance of avoiding the scammers.

****in el Jon, have a word with yourself before sending/refunding stuff with people less than 50 posts, as good as your intentions are.
I have problems galore getting tools back off best mates, never mind someone on the internet I have never met who has just joined a forum.
