i took the kids in the van with their bikes to do the sett valley trail, we were driving between new mills and hayfield, just past the quarry coming up to the car park turn off and saw this.

http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news...erbyshire.html

honestly when this happens just a few minutes before you get there it was really shocking, thank god nobody died, it fell off a forty foot lorry coming out of the quarry, to give you an idea there was only three on the back of the 40ft flat so you can see what a lump it really was.

it was quite thought provoking,

the walk was great though, we are getting a dog in a few weeks so we have been looking at good walks for it and us and this was a dry run,
longendale trail is next.

the kids did very well im aching.

Don't know but I can think of a suitably terse reply
