Default How come.....

Washing machines nowadays only last for about 3 years before needing to be replaced . I remember my parents AEG lasted about 20 odd years

Buy a Miele - then you get a machine guaranteed to last 10 years. It does cost you though!

Our Whirlpool 6 years and still going. Had a new door hinge, that's it.

They are probably made in China and like just about everything made in China they will be shoddy, poorly put together and made out of sub standard components hence 3 years is about the maximum lifespan.

I dream the world will soon wake up to the fact that 'made in China' is not good.

Our Hoover washing machine is 12 years old and doing well! Had a switch break and the door catch, but both problems sorted for less than 20 quid in total
