Default My Diet and Protein ??

Constipation

Protein causes it !!

As I'm now quite heavily into my training I'm trying to keep a balance on my diet to stop the side affects of having a high protein diet !

Can anyone suggest any foods to fight against this ... issue

If it becomes really bad laxatives will help. I assume your water intake is high or should be high.

Yeah, I'm not suffering with it at the moment, but as I increase my work load I have to match it with the diet obviously and I already suffer with my stomach (IBS) so the less of an effect it has the better!!

Fruit, fibre (cereal)

Benefibre works for me.

Can try cottage cheese or quark as a protein source, they're usually gentle on the stomach.

Ibs, hmm you posted up on muscletalk a couple weeks back didn't you?

I'm assuming that you're limiting carbs to become more ripped. If this is the case the normal high fibre foods which are mostly starch based and high in carbs, need to be limited. As an aside too much protein isn't necessarily good, your body only assimilates a certain amount the rest is passed through undigested. Don't get too hung up about high protein intakes. a balanced diet is the best. Unless you are having to limit carbs, there is no reason why you shouldn't be getting enough fibre.

What protein powder are you using mate? The good un's don't generally cause any digestive disturbances.

Keep your fluid intake high, and eat cererals high in fibre would help. I wouldn't keep sticking supplements down your neck to remedy the side effects of other supplements; they are supposed to be an addition to your diet, not a substitute.

Really a good protein powder WITH a decent diet should be all you need

Fibre. Contrary to common opinion fibre loosens, rather than binds. Plenty of good fruit fibre will help.
