I had a 2+ protein in my medical yesterday. The Doc said it was nothing but could barely speak English. Anyone know what it means?

fatherpierre,
I should make clear that I am no expert on this! But my understanding is that this is quite common in a urinalysis. Small amounts of protein in urine (up to 8 mg/dl) are perfectly normal, but if there is a lot of protein in urine (a condition known as Albuminuria), it is generally a sign of kidney disfunction and you should get your kidneys checked.
Like I say, I'm no doctor, but it doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about.
