The weather...
Today (05/04/2007) has been lovely today and not to mention, unseasonal. How come then that there has been no news of this unseasonal freak weather of 26.5 degrees C (according to the car) and clear sunny skies. Its gonna happen again tomorrow and yet none of the "greens" have come out of the wood work to say that this is the fault of global warming, (though research has already shown that global temps have not risen since 1998 and has infact slightly decreased!). Presumably they're enjoying the weather!

Well, I'll do it their behalf then:
This spell of unseasonably warm weather is clearly a direct result of global warming and therefore an increasingly good reason to tax you back to the stone age. Vote for me. Vote for world peace.

Still no one is complaining of the lovely weather we're currently having which *may be due to global warming*.

Don't you dare claim that Global Warming is anything other than the direct result of you evil humans driving your cars and being the most advanced creature in the known Universe!! You neo-con, oil guzzling, seal clubbing, nuclear weapon wanting, meat-eating, bath taking, short haired, suit wearing person you! I bet you EAT BABIES!
You have learnt nothing from those terrible Dinosaurs and all the creatures that died as a result of previous climate change on Earth, who paid the price for their unending consumption of fossil fuels and their abuse of the planet...
But BBC News have been unrelenting in their pursuit of the truth and totally non-biased reporting of Global Warming today..

That's the spirit - and i've just bought a few thousand incandescent bulbs to keep me going for the next few years. I reckon that what i will save in heating as the planet warms will more than offset any energy losses in lighting costs

Yes indeed. Thanks to global warming, I've turned my central heating thermostat down, thus offsetting my "carbon footprint" by reducing the amount of fossil fuels burnt to use heat my home and my CO2 emissions. Heck, I've even planted a few more shrubs in the garden!
Just like Tony Blair/David Cameron and Al Gore, this offsetting of carbon will allow me to take long haul flights to various holiday destinations and allow me to drive my big and heavy SUV and powerful sports car. Just so we're in no doubt, I'm doing my bit for the environment!
