Cool New plates on the Type R...

Fitted my new Euro style plates to the type R over the weekend... there not 100% legal... lol
Gone for a standard size rear and a 3/4 size front plate...
What you think...? the front one should allow alittle more air into the fmic...

And after a quick rinse later today... whats happened to the weather...?

Ha Ha! Not 100% legal so what are they then 89% Legal? Nearly legal? No doubt when you get stopped by the fuzz or caught by a camera you'll be on here whinging like that bloke was last week!
On a more serious note aside from the no plate issue that is a very tidy car you have there, Black Type R Very nice!

There was a guy on here last week who claimed he'd been sent a summons after being caught by a roadside camera with non standard plates fitted, first time i'd heard of this but be warned!

Are you sure that is 3/4 size.

I thought the plate I had on my old car was that size (390mm long), but it looks bigger

Its certainly smaller than standard, uses Irish fonts, and never had a problem with BIB or MOT.
