i am going to Amsterdam this weekend with 11 mates and as anyone been recently who can offer any good drinking venues and some words of advice please

Don’t do an entire bag of mushrooms...
I sat in an Italian restaurant thinking people were the characters from Superted and one mate was a Cylon, the rest tree's...
had to go back to the hotel!
Unfortunately i was too drunk to remember any of the club/bar names...
Actually, think they have a teasers (hooters style place but better) where you can do shots of the fit barstaff's ***** etc...!
Think the grasshopper was a decent bar too
Heineken tour is worth doing also, lots of people don’t want the bear so ask for their tokens!

Words of advice - esp in the red light district......
Don't make eye contact or respond to the pushers who are trying to sell you drugs (unless you want some !!) just walk on, they wont care.
Dont buy from the pushers - god only knows whats mixed in there.
Stay at least in pairs (easy as there is 11 of you) ie dont go anywhere alone - esp if drunk or stoned.
Split your money up in pockets, so if the worst happens then a pickpocket or a mugger only gets some not all the cash on you.
Stay away from any trouble kicking off - the police respond very quickly and wont ask many questions if they think you are involved.
Don't mess with the bouncer in the Greenhouse cafe (stocky guy, bald) I once saw him take on 4 guys and win without breaking a sweat.
Most of the above comes from a friend who goes 5-6 times a year (I have only been once but am going again in soon for a stag) and it makes the place sound a right trouble hot spot, but he has never had any problems.

It does mean that, yes, but you haven't given a specific reason to make ipso-facto correct contextually. You need a "by vitrue of the fact" in there somewhere!

don't get cameras out in the red light district. While being absolutly sh*tfaced I thought it would be a good idea to take a picture on my phone and send back to the boys - i ended up on the deck with a half naked bird screaming for me to hand my phone over!

Yeh good one, forgot that one - trying to take pictures of the girls is the easiest way to end up in the canal and even trying to be sneaky with a camera phone they will see you - they aint stupid !!

Why not give Ancoats a go, it has bars, drugs, brothels and a canal with only a slightly larger probability of being mugged, knived, head stoved in by two 14 year old's from Moss Side.

never tried as I have always been with the missus, think I am going to have to get a spy camera or something as some of those birds are definitely worth a 'shot'

been, seen and never again,,8 Euros for a pint of cider and 50c to have a ****,place is crawling with drug dealers saying 'Do you want some Charley' on every street corner,the air is constantly stinking of cannibis...horrible....nice girls in the red light area though but never sampled one and it is like walking round the sales follow the leader up and down the alley ways. if you aint been its a gotta see to believe senario
