NL critcised for lack of eqiupment for troops
So they do this
Extra protection for terror police - news.uk.msn.com
Makes you wonder where the threat lies, and where there priorities are.
prehaps 12,000 flack jackets would be of better use to the people who need them

BufHoon was too cowardly to attend the inquest of the chap who was shot for lack of body armour and explain why he held back the order for the necessary equipment before the start of the attack on Iraq. Why were they sent into a zone which was said by the authorities to have WMD without enough armour, nuclear, biological and chemical protection gear, and tanks which were not fit to operate in desert conditions?
What a load of hypocrites.

1) Propaganda stating attack highly likely
2) Attack was likely but the intellegence services & police prevented it from happening.
Having said that, NL like to take the credit for anything so would assume that they'd be banging on about how they stopped an attack so I would go with point 1).

I have to admit I was a bit concerned at the carol concert in the Albert Hall, that would have had all the requirements for maximum publicity for the terrorists.
So in one sense the propaganda did have its effect on me!
