How though? How do I use it? I click on it and all it does it move me straight to the bottom of the page Is it just me whos not getting this? saying that though I have a smashing headache today so that might be why.

It changes the address in the tool bar so if you were to send a link to a friend they would see the post you want them to read as opposed to the whole thread.

Sometimes links can be dynamic and change over time, a so-called 'permalink' shouldn't, but they do reference the same URL. Any dragging and dropping of links is a feature of your web browser, not the BBS software. Don't see the problem personally, don't even know what these icons are people are talking about
