Some parcel carriers may class it as a non-compatible, it will depend who you send it with though. Wrapping some card around it may not be a bad idea.

I sent two the other week - I brown taped them together covering the holes with card and leaving a small gap for handles. I put the address on the card. The courier took them no problems although they were two days late!!!

Yea i was naive to expect anything sensible Its posted now, wrapped in a couple of binliners and taped up and labelled.
