Star Wars marathon
heard on the radio yesterday that certain cinemas are showing all of the Star Wars films one after other with 30minute breaks inbetween. Which sounds good for the die hard fans ( not Die Hard film fans obviously! ). But theyre showing them IV, V, VI, I, II, III I know they want to keep the new one till last but wasnt the whole point that after III came out you could watch them all in sync?!
I think they said it lasts around 16 hours too

They really haven't thought it through have they!
Only commited Star Wars fans would want to sit through that many films but none of them would want to see them in the wrong order. I'd love to see the cinema manger scratching his head wondering why no one is interested!
OK, I'm off to watch all three Lord of the Rings extended DVDs back to back... NOT!

for a star wars fan this is the besy way (assuming they havent seen episode 3 yet)
the films where not made to be viewed in order...otherwise GL would have made 1 first. Everyone knows the story, nothing is lost by seeing the old ones first. The big deal right now is to see how the missing bit is completed....and thats left till last.
No one wants to sit through all that....have the highlight half way through, then wait 3 more hours just to see the fcukin ewoks.
Personally i can wait till video...watching a load of CGI is not my idea of fun......but if i was into it i would happily watch them back in order of production.
