Might have a consultancy job coming up in Jordan in the next month or so. I won't be there for long - probably a week or two. Anyone been or worked there?

its a safe place
but not as protected as uae my friend
the reason is, theirs alot of emotions at the mo against the west after iraq, palestine and afghanistan
it would be sad if a fanatic out their tries to kill innocent westerners, it aint recommended

Apparently the ruler of Jordan has been in the charts
try googling Peter Andre
(On a serious note, I have a client who works a security job in Jordan - gets paid £120.00 per hour, 24*7, so there must be some danger involved)

I give up
Thanks Moses.
I know this is a rarity in these forums, but this is a serious question! Anyone else been there?
Thanks Moses.

Hello
I have been to most of the middle-east, including Jordon (and Kuwait just after the war) and found them to be relatively safe. However, I haven't been in the last two years and would probably not do so.

Cheers Steve & Moses. It's only a temp assignment - not thinking about moving out there permanently - although the contract rates look good!

I know people who have been out to Jordan many times on business. No problems at all and very friendly people. That Queen Rania is pretty hot as well.
