Sennheiser Hd 200s hey.. watch the mini jack for the headphone lead- mine broke very soon after buying them.
I use Pioneer HDj 1000s and Sony MDRv700DJ headphones now-good,but prone to crackage.
Check these out too:
Peyton- higher place (eric kupper gospel mix)- (hedkandi)
JuniorJack- stupid disco (defected)
Stonebridge- Put em high (seamus Hajji mix) (hedkandi)
Shapeshifters-Lolas theme (my copies selling for 40 quid a time at the mo-crazy)
Thomas Bangalter/Dj falcon- Call on me (samples Steve winwood's 'Valerie' )(white)
Bobby Blanco/Mikki Moto- 3am (defected)
Paradise soul- Wake up (kinky vinyl)
Angel City - Touch me (phunk investigation mix) (Data records)
YCS feat. Reed- Release me (kinky vinyl)
Moloko- Cannot contain this (gus gus mix) (cant remember the label)
Dj Sharon O Love&3 elements- Fast Car (xtrafresh) (this has now been banned due to dodgy samples, so is rare as hens teeth)
Highly funky house thats currently rocking my floors (extracts from my charts). Most are promos or whites/bootlegs so you might have a hard time tracking them down- have fun!
Stick at it chief!

hey, tell me to fluff off if you want but i enjoy helping peeps out with this stuff.
There are a couple of things you can learn to help you become a great dj.
-Leave the crossfader in the middle (if its turn off-able then turn it off) Use the channel faders instead-much more control and punch this way, and you dont get a dip in volume caused by the x fader. It has its uses sometimes, but most pro djs (certainly house and trance djs) will leave it alone the majority of the time
-Match your levels between incoming and outgoing tracks. To do this, needle jump in your headphones to the loudest part of the track and flick the cue between channels and match the volume, or if it has a split cue function you will be hearing both anyway so can match them easily. Volume mis match isnt as noticeable on a small system- but on a big system it is very noticeable. Start as you mean to go on and all that.
-Use the Eqs. It sound horrid having two kicks on full whack on the go at once. A few ways of doing this, the most common being having the bass eq turned down on the incoming track, bringing the track in, and then at some point simultaneously turning the incoming bass eq up and turning the outgoing bass eq down. This helps having missing beats from the kicks waveforms cancelling each other out.
Learning fun things like initial pitching and fine pitch adjustment whilst in the mix (ie both channels open) using only the pitch slider rather and not physically touching the record at all can take a long time can take a long time to master, as can knowing when to mix a track in. All part of the fun.
Theres a million things i could tell you- i post on some forums regularly giving advice to new djs, any other help or advice with anything to do with this, feel free to drop me a PM. Been doing this professionally for a while now, so i know my beans.
Oops...bit of a long post lol sue me..
