*** Apologies to anybody who has seen this before - I have not and I am still in shock!!! ***
Okay, I'm an open-minded kind of guy, but come on...

I really thought this was a **** take until I started to read it. He is serious and I thought it couldn't get any worse until I saw the final stages of the 'project'. He plugged himself in - Oh My God!!!!!
Am I being unfair? Is this normal?

*Loads* of people indulge in this sort of stuff. Few take it to this extreme, and fewer still splash it all over the internet.

Yes it is pretty harmless. If you put it over the internet, you are likely to get some amount of abuse though.
Although I have seen a website of a guy who created an "electro-stimulation" suit and nearly killed himself.

And I wonder how many people think that moddifiying a jap saloon car is "sad" and posting on a BBS related to such things is "sad"? But of course we are all normal aren't we? 
Yes these people do exist, there might be a few hoaxes here and there, but in general they are quite happy to do what they do and don't really care if the world at large thinks they are somewhat odd. Each to his own and all that.

You'd have thought he'd atleast have put a pair of socks down his tights. Mind you - he could earn a bit on a dodgy pay per view site - not many examples of people who are bald, moustachioed and have a camel toe.
