Q jumping in Nightclubs
#1
This has happend to me twice now in probably Southamptons "trendiest" bar/club.
Happend last night, 11pm ish, 40 odd people in the Q, we walk to the back 1 mins later the bouncer walks up to us and says you 2 can go straight in! Result
Thing is, we were 2 blokes, neither Bradd Pitt looking or anything and the rest of the Q looked repectable enough.......................just wondering if anyone has worked the door before and would explain why they picked us. Only thing i can think of is he may have recognised us, we go most weekends or more

You joined the back of the queue, how odd!
A couple of reasons.....
If the club was full, the doorpersons are instructed to work on a person out, person in basis. They sometimes have a 'clicker' in their hand which is basically a people counter, so they know when the club is full. So maybe the people in front of you were in groups bigger than two, and two people had just left.
They thought they knew you from the gym, or from another Doorpersons syndicate.
It was a fancy dress 70's night and the people in front of you hadnt bothered, but you and your mate obviously had.
It was a gay club, the people in front were mixed sex couples, so priority was given to you and you boyfriend.
Whos feckin idea was it to spell QUE, QUEUE ! where they takin the pi55 or what?........QUE YOU.
