This was in the papers lat week I believe, but for those who missed it.
The Star Wars Kid is a 15-year-old from Quebec known only as
Ghyslain -- his parents are keeping his last name secret to protect his identity.
Back in November 2002, Ghyslain was goofing off at a school video studio and recorded himself fighting a mock battle with a broomstick lightsaber.
The video shows the lone, overweight teenager twirling
his mock lightsaber ever faster while making his own accompanying
sound effects.
Yes, we've all had our dorky, private moments, but this poor kid is living the nightmare of having his private dorkiness projected across the world to giggling Web users. His friends found the tape, and uploaded it to KaZaA as a joke on April 19. Within two weeks, someone had added full Star Wars special effects and noises to the tape, and the video was linked on gaming, technology, and Star Wars-related sites across the Internet.

All the time, I can't help it if the search critera is very limited (can't search for pictures, only 50 results, etc...)
Only posted about 5 SIALs (and 2 of them was before the term or use of SIAL picute) in my time on Scoobynet
Jokes, fair enough, many of them do the rounds in the emails before they appear on scoobynet, but movies and pictures are harder to 'prove'.
Having said that, if most people did a simple search for the past 7 days then about 50% of the sials on this board could be prevented
But hey, taking the mickey is half the fun. People take the micky out of me for any SIAL's I've posted, and I'm cool with that, at tht end of the day it's just a forum board.

Well there you go.
Once again Scoobynet search sucks. I searched got no result, hence posted, put the comment about the papers, coz knew youd be queueing up to say "Ooh oohh it was in the papers".
Must dump my life, so I can monitor scoobynet on a 24/7 basis like some of u sad no hopers.
Going for spliff now to chill and be mellow.
Still its not as bad as the friends reunited search engine, that cant find no bast**d

I search posts rather than topics as you've got a better chance of finding stuff, the problem is to identify that word to search on that won't be used in 1000 other posts.
I don't monitor scoobynet 24/7, just every now and then when nothing interesting is happening in the real world.
