Superb sight seeing, Spent an average of 6.5 hours a day walking and taking pictures.
Then 6 hours in the Strip Bar after having dinner and sitting in the main square.
A group of us from work went. Best time away I've had, huge laugh and never felt so relaxed.

The BBC have just shown a "wish you were here" show on Prague a couple of weeks ago! C
an't remember the details except, there's a spider museum, a nice cobbled bridge with statues you rub for good luck!,stunning architecture, cheap beer, varying quality of hotels, rip-off taxi drivers and a cafe where you can pay to hurl a huge plate of donuts at your mates while everyone goes about their business in the cafe around you.
the birds looked cracking too!

I was visting family last summer and spent 3 weeks over there. Prague was fantastic. Great food, great beer and it's dirt cheap (if you exclude electrical goods & fashion brands)
Places to see are:-
Astronomical Clock/Old Town Hall Tower
Old Town Bridge Tower (fantastic views of the whole city centre)
Prague Castle
Petrín Observation Tower & Mirror maze (in the park next to the tower)
Zizkov Tower
National Theatre
Charles Bridge
Museum of Medieval Torture Instruments
Spiders and Scorpians Museum
St Nicholas Church
Check out some more places of interest here
As for Bars/Restuarants, then U Fleku is not to be missed - great dark beer.

Women I work with went and said it was great.
BUT - she did give warning about that bridge, saying it was where all the pickpockets hangout and there was a lot of "touts" to get you to exchange money there - no office or anything, they just legged it with your passport and travellers cheques and the earliest opportunity, lots of undercover coppers though because these "exchange touts" are becomming a bit of a problem...

Like any big city, you need to be aware of pick-pockets and keep an eye on your bags at all times.
Any of the major tourist attractions are going to attract these types of people, but I certainly didn't find Prague and more worrying than London, Rome or Paris.
I was warned by family to be careful, but I never felt worried at all; although I did have a big ****-off padlock on my rucksack so maybe they checked me out and thought better of it
Just take care with valuables and don't wander around with 'easy target' written all over you

You don't really need to take taxis - the public transport is excellent and cheap, a legacy of the Soviet occupation. It's also properly integrated, unlike our own stupid expensive excuse for a system.
