No ideas really - but make sure you talk to the person doing the speech before you!! We got married two weeks ago and my dad said everything my bloke had planned to say! Was rather funny...

Congratulations!

"Craaaaaawling in my skiiiiiiin,
These wooooounds they will not 'eaaaaaaaal"

Any lyrics from Linkin Park would end up as a sure winner....

A friend of mine said at the end of the traditional thank-yous (mother in law for the flowers, bridesmaids etc.): "I would like to say a particular thank you to my new father in law for his vigorous input into my wife's early sex education".

It certainly made an impact

Is search working now? This has been asked maybe twice this year? Some really good stuff came out, too...

I found the line

"X years ago I realised I had met Miss right" Audience sighs "today now we have been married a few hours I have just found out her first name is Always"

takes a moment but they all got it in the end.

(but then I also read out the UK Grand Prix Qualifiying results as well)(humanitarian reasons of course!)

Don't forget to say something very nice about the bride - you'd be suprised how many ppl forget - and it's used against them for the rest of their lives.....
