Why do you keep on starting new threads!?
What was up with the original one!!??
You're just confusing people doing this!
I have put a link to this one from the 'old' thread!
Meeting at the shirehorse sounds good, or we could meet at the layby at M6 J13 if you are going that way?
Good to hear you will have the Eibach's on soon. I have been hiting mine on speed cushions this week when carrying passengers, tho that could be as I put my catted centre section back on in the wrong position for the MOT last week!
I think they might have tried delivering my KYB AGX's today, hopefully they will be on and I will be all laser aligned by this meet!

Shaun, how dare you dis the wagon..............
How was the holiday mate?
You could've bought Oat's wagon as he's now got a X-Type sport and very nice it is too............far too classy for him though
Seeing as we are about to rename ourselves the Stoke Scooby Wagon Crew, it would be quite appropriate if you did get a wagon.
I'm sure there is an STi7 wagon on here for sale.........wish I couls afford one, oh well, one day, I'll have to make do with the Mr.Softy white wagon for now.
Hope to c u soon.
Si.
ps: Yes, your expectations are too high, but quite rightly so.

Hi guys, sorry it's been so long but have been burying my head in work, home and RALLYING.
It seems more of the latter than anything else. I am now officially a marshal and a co-driver, and love every minute of it.
My weekends seem to be taken up with one of the above 3 all the time, and so it is on this date too. I will be in Leicestershire checking out next years competition for the 205 Challenge. So sorry guys, you won't be seeing much of me anymore.
I will still be posting on here tho, and will try and keep up to date on your goings on.
My passion for the Scoob is as strong as ever, and you never know, one day the call from Subaru WRT may come and I will be sat next to Petter!! (Yes I know I am dreaming, but aim high is my motto. Phils seat is safe for a while yet!)
All the best

Should make this one. Just put some new pads on (4th set I think), and new tyres (Toyo T1-R's) should be arriving tomorrow (again, the 4th set!!), so car should be raring to go.
All going to plan, I will be in Manchester Sat evening, so will be coming down from there.

I've been for a scout round for somewhere a little more rural. If I can remember correctly, the Euston Way is on the opposite side of the car park to the station, and they are the only 2 things on that exit of a roundabout.
I'll be popping round the 5 or 6 pubs that are on my shortlist on Sunday to see how busy they are at the time of day you'll be over.

Cheers martin, keep us in the frame.
I must say that I'm a little dissappointed once again in the response to this especially as I see sooooooooooo many scoobs in and around stoke area.
Never mind.

Hats off to Dave for PM'ing to drum up trade ....
Don't think I'll make this, as
a) I'm going to Spain tomorrow for a week
b) I'm fairly sure that Graham (911) has his first hill climb (though it is in Shropshire !) in the new car on the 10th, so if I'm back and fit, I'll probably be going along to that....
BUT - you never know, I might turn up just after you've left, like last time
Have a good 'un anyhow,
Mark

Jim and I have been for a drive to check the pubs on our shortlist, and have come up with a clear favourite. I'm going to have another run out there tomorrow just to check they're open all day (we turned up at the next one at 3, just as they were closing).

Should be well up for this. Spending Saturday in Clocaenog Forest watching the Astra-Stages rally with some mates, so a scooby meet on Sunday will round the weekend off nicely! I'll be there in my '04 wagon, and a mate in his '99 classic.

I was beginning to think it would be just the wagon crew AGAIN, good to see a few new faces and names down.
Meeting times and venue to be arranged, although it's likely to be Shirehorse pub, stafford, A34.
Si.
do u reckon we'll get 10 names?

(or are you counting cars rather than people?)
Finished off fitting the KYB AGX's today and have fitted my Whiteline ALK. Just need to get the 4-wheel alignment done or the handling could be a bit funny!
Where did you get yours done and how much?
Did TSL re-adjust it for you FOC?

And the winner is...
Right, I've been out to check, and the pub Jim and I liked is open from midday to 10.30.
It is the Nag's Head on the A488 about 5 miles from the A5 Shrewsbury by-pass. It's on the right just as you go from Pontesford into Pontesbury, heading away from Shrewsbury.
I'm going to head over there for about 1.15 on Sunday, see you there .
