Thanks, Gav.

Easy, drive down the A34 from Stoke, past Stone until you get to the roundabout at the top end of beaconside. Turn right as if you are going down the dual carriageway that joins M6 J14 and turn right at the first roundabout which they have just put in. At the next roundabout turn right, then right at the junction and then right again!

Basically, when you are bouncing over the rumble strips approaching the roundabout on the A34, look right and you will see the pub.
It is where they originally wanted to put screwfix but couldn't get planning permission.

See you on Sunday!

Si.

Without knowing what route you're taking, I couldn't say. Maybe 15-20 minutes to get to the pub once you hit Shrewsbury.

I've printed off a map of the bits around Shrewsbury, just in case you don't know where you are going Si!

My Dad might meet up with us at the Shirehorse, he has a MY04 GLx wagon, not much power and it looks like it's on stilts, but looks nice with the WRX wheels.

What time are we meeting there?

I cannot make it any earlier than about 11:15am, they are reading out my marriage bands at church for the first time on Sunday so I suppose I had better be there!
Just to make sure everyone keeps quiet!!

Alright chaps, here we go then:

Meet at Shirehorse pub on A34 stafford at 11:45am

Leave for shropshire 12:00-12:15

Meet the lads over at shropshire, speedydave has the maps I believe

Anyone near stoke wanting to convoy to stafford can meet Oat and I outside Halfords on A34 trentvale at 11:20.

I'll be in white wagon with white 17's , black flaps and chav exhaust

Si.

p.s: I'm sure we can get some more attendees.

Yep i'm coming along on sunday, but unfortunately only as a passenger now
cant believe we've finally arranged a shropshire meet and i've not got the wagon, bloody typical.
I'll be simon's co-pilot in future, dont want to slow every one up by turning up in the new motor, might bring the wicker pick-nick hamper though!

Dave, i'll be bringin the splitter with me m8.

see you all on sunday chaps.

oat

Oh, and first one to the bar on sunday...........i'll have a pimms

Alright chaps, I sent out pm's last night to possible attendees not already on the list but sadly, no more will attend, never mind

We could do with sorting out who is co-piloting who really, don't want 4 up in the wagon 'cause that will only allow Jolley to go even faster

Oat, I take it you'll bring the camera, and Mart, you bring the video camera?

C ya sunday.

Cheers, just been to the cashpoint and got your cash. I still think your car looked darker than mine, I hope I'm wrong!
I was planning on taking some tools and fitting it then (see if it takes 10 mins like you said!)

Going to take my camera also as I could do with a photo of it on level ground as trails needs a pic with a wagon with STi6 splitter and KYB AGX/Eibachs. I also measure the ground clearance - my driveway is anything but level!

Planned an interesting route, though don't want to post it on here just in case!

See you on Sunday!

Dave,

if you want to fit the splitter bring a pair of overalls and I'll bring the sockets, and the only reason mine looked darker is the amount of bloody polish that car had!!!!!

Si,

camera will be present captain.

What, no snow!!??

I hope the Nag's Head does food?
And has Pedigree on draught!!
Had a pint of that at lunchtime and it looked light in colour and had bubbles, like lager. Don't know what they did to it. Talking of which I'm off for a beer!

Washed mine the weekend before last and it still doesn't look too bad, won't have time to do it this morning. Ah well, it's not a concourse competition!

See you all later on!

Should be there about 1:30pm, is this correct Si?

Good meeting chaps, it was a nice run out and good to meet some new people, plus I now have a STi6 splitter which I'm well pleased with!

Hope you got back ok Si, hopefully it won't be a future trend of people having rad problems on these runs!

The next meet should be for Japfest I reckon on 21st May at Castle Coombe.
http://www.japfest.co.uk/
Keep your eyes on the SIDC website, last year we bought tickets off them and got a car parking pass to park in the SIDC members enclosure.

Si I hope you got back in one peace!

See you all at the next meet

Good to meet everyone and put a few names to faces. I hope it's nothing serious with your car Si.

There's a few selected pics in Member's Gallery, and all of them here . I'm still a bit miffed the pub shut, despite telling me Monday that they're open all day , and still trying to work out how I failed to see the 4x4 coming the other way when I turned into the car park

Japfest's a no go for me , bike lesson on the saturday, and nephew's christening on the Sunday so sis, brother-in-law and his family are over from Italy for the weekend.

Martin.

I had a look earlier and the tickets are not up for sale just yet, keep on checking back as they should be available soon!

Little Jim - which one was your car then? (trying to put SN names to cars/faces!)

Si - Looks like you got home in the end, at least you had a sense of humour about it!
When I said earlier "Should be there about 1:30pm, is this correct Si?!" I meant 1:30pm in Shropshire I wasn't doing a wind-up... ...this time!

Thanks to Martin for taking the pics.
