One of the best things about JDM newage scoobs....No immobiliser, so you can swap ECU's without having to sync keys. Looks unmolested and mint.

Very nice!!

remapped for uk fuel dont know m8, car came to uk 2004 so am sure the last owner did it. am going for a re-map soon with it after a few mods de-cat etc. i got it with 43k miles 4 weeks ago.

Your going to need to run her on optimax or tesco 99 if you dont know she is mapped or not, good chance is that she isnt, so octane booster is also advised.
With the decat that your planning on fitting, dont go above 3k rpm, stay off boost or you will have a good chance of blowing the engine up due to the engine management not being able to control the boost and spiking, this causes det which damages your pistons, in turn it puts pressure on your big end bearing, and if that goes its 3k+ time on a new engine rebuild
I would suggest a device for monitoring det like a KS3 knock analyser (google it )

thanx for the reply's, i always run on v-power, how do i change the o/s reverse to fog???? i know about takin it easy after de-cat, the knock thingy is on my list to do...........man this list is growing fast.... i say's wen i got the car NO MODS. i see havin a scooby is like a drug, you want more and more, will have to keep things from the wife.............hahaha.
