Default My Turbo Wagon

Here's a few pics of my Wagon that i shall be picking up in the next couple of days.

A bit of wear on one of the seats but hopefully can be sorted with needle and thread.

Would like to here opinions, and thoughts on what can be done to enhance it.

A good clean up and enjoy it.

Personally I'd change the exhaust at some point for something a bit more Jap.

When we got ours it took a couple of weekends to get it as clean as we would like & Mrs Big Pete was offered £500 more than we paid for it!

We've recently changed the wheels too which has made a huge difference to the way it looks but more importantly it handles a lot better too

I do want to get a splitter on the bottom of the front bumper to add a bit of depth to it, are there many different types and how easy are they to fit?

a good clean/mop maybe to get her shining, maybe paint the wheels the colour of the grille, de-tango the front (clear indicators/side repeaters) piaa fog covers........

plenty of little/inexpensive things can make a maasive difference

Removed the front fogs today as they weren't working and they had rotted through at the bottom. Ended up beeing a complete pain in the **** to remove them, had to take out the bumper bar to remove the bumper as you couldn't get to the 2 bolts just behind and above the fogs.

They had been secured on with a backing plate which included 6 screws all rusted badly and 4 bolts each with 2 nuts on it. Anyway behind one of the lamps there was what looks like a temperature sensor with a white cable, i haven't noticed a temp gauge in the car, should there be one or is this something used for the ECU or likely to be a add-on of some sort.

Also found a red LED strip under the bumper aswell which was swiftly binned.

Will be trying to source some standard fogs and covers, what size are the standard fogs?, and do they secure onto the 3 holes in the the opening for them.

Used the car for the first time since i bought it, and i almost forgot how good these are to drive. Was a bit worried at first as it was quite jumpy when i first got in and struggling at low revs, went to fill it up at tescos with super unleaded and since then it's going very well, done around 40 miles today and it was spot on.

There are three fixings on the foglamps themselves and three corresponding holes in the recess...pics below should explain far better, mine are for sale if you are interested

Babies usually cost quite a bit........ especially if you want a blonde one. Is it an internet jobbie or have you met up with those nice helpful Algerian fellows down the black market?
