My MY98 SW vs Porsche GT3
I was invited to a track day arranged by a sportscar dealer in Norway, and had an enjoyable day on track with exotic sport cars.
The most enjoyable moment was when I tried to hang on to a Porsche GT3 - with some success. Still limited to ~ 250 bhp, so the GT3 gains distance at the straights - but I think my old wagon hangs on well in the turns

Later that day I realized I could run more of the turns in 5th rather than 4th - but during the first try I misjudged the entry speed as I lost engine braking in 5th. The second spin to the left was "planned", as I didn't want to run off sideways into the gravel trap:

I thought I had 2 hours of video, but unfortunately the vibrations in the car killed the DV-camera after 45 mins
An interesting drag race between the Tesla Roadster, Carrera GT, Porsche GT3 and Lotus Exige

cracking footage.
You also kept up due to simply being a better driver. Some of the GT3's lines were awful, whereas your's were much better.

Excellent video's
as above just shows you don't need all that power....I think with a bot more power he'd have a tough time losing you and wind up with egg on his GT3!!
