Very nice matey. I love Black when its clean. It looks a different car altogether. What did you use out of interest?. I tend to use Meguirs stuff, which gives a nice glossy finish.

I have only owned the car for 3 weeks so inherited the paint issues. I washed it yesterday using Autoglym shampoo and the two bucket method and discovered how big the problem was with the paint. Firstly to tackle the paint problem which was tree sap, that the dealer had then very kindly polished over rather than remove I used Autosmart Tardis from polished bliss, which had to be put on then washed off and then re applied about 4 times and rubbed off with a micro fibre towel (Meguirs) Then snow foam was applied and power washed off then excess water was removed using a Autoglym aqua cloth, A Meguirs clay bar (blue) was used to tidy a couple of areas up, And Finally Autoglym polish was applied and polished off with a Meguirs Micro fibre towel.

y did u snow foam it last? the whole point of foaming is to remove road grime/dirt first to reduce scratching/swirling.

Because i washed it yesterday the two bucket method, and then last night in Halfords i bought a snow foam attachment so thought i'd try it out and get rid of any dust that might have settled on it overnight.

You want to get a sealant or wax over that polish when you can. Autoglym polish won't protect your paint from further chemical adhesions or abrasions.

Looks good though

NOOOO !

A quality wax. Autoglym SRP, NXT are not that disimilar in that they clean and 'protect' at the same time. But what you need is a quality wax that will last longer than a couples of washes/weeks.

Something like Dodo Juice Blue Velvet or even cheaper and more durable colinite 915. You could spend more but I always use Dodo.
