Wow. I pretty engrossed in that. Must admit I had a bit of a chuckle when I saw your driving gloves, I thought it was the Stig,
Just a few questions, as I'd love to get to the 'Ring one day.
What kind of speeds were you doing on the corners, and in general really? You did seem visibly faster once the Porsche was out of the way.
How may runs did you have?
thanks

Joey not sure on corner speeds as you tend to be looking elseware but some other places Flugplatz 120 Schwedenkreuz 153 Fuchsrohre 130 Kesselchen 135 Pflanzgarten 125.
The Porsche was just slow passing other cars and on corners but its a brave
man that sticks it up the inside so I just filled his mirrows till he made the mistake.
that lap was the first lap sunday morning 8.30ish so went out again about 20 mins later but a crash going down into Adenau put pay to that one Gary was on duty at the seen.
It was also the first lap in the car empty as I did 3 on sat night with all our kit in inc 4 spare wheels and trolly jack plus bags !!!
If its you first time look for the turn at Adenau Forrest most 1st timers go of
hear
The gloves make a big difference stops sweatty hands

Nice lap Phil ......... If you dont mind me saying, in too early at Adenaur Forst .......
If nothing else once Kesselchen opened up it showed that a standard 996 is more than capable of holding its own in a straight line against the best scoob around ...... Yours is a spec C isnt it?
Gary

7.59 was a full lap, tourist drives are doing about 25 secs less than that. Basically missing out a good part of the main straight.
If Phil was to continue and do a full lap it would be about 8.56.

Te best lap I have done was a 8.15 in my 95 wrx not sti but tein suspension
sp sport race tyres and ap brakes so I think that with a clear track that 8.00
to 8.05 should be realistic but you never get a clear track the 8.15 was the last but one lap that I did in the old car this is after aprox 450 to 500 laps over to many years but i will be back because it's the best rush you can get
