Hi, I posted this last night, eventually in general questions but it had gone today, I'm hoping for a better response here, hope you enjoy it! I think the owner is called Ian though I'm not sure, hope he doesn't mind me putting this on here.

Yep, that's my baby.... Eight fuel injectors plus T4 turbo + 2.4 bar boost = flames. Best top speed achieved to date 180.6mph at Bruntingthorpe - look out for the feature on the front cover of Perfromance Ford magazine. AND it didn't blow up after several runs at this speed...
Best regards

Harj,
I thought I did after the first hairpin. Mind you, you might have been on a cool down lap heading for the pits, as you were in a queue of slow moving Scoobies (but then aren't they all.... ).

Type R,
- maybe, but then again maybe not. Funny how no-one came near me on track. It was very lonely after overtaking everyone...

Funny but I thought the idea was to burn the fuel before it leaves the engine? LOL

Andy,

Thats not a picture of the sad guy who's put an extra injector in the exhaust is it? LOL

I heard Dingy and JayB talking about an RS guy who had done it.

Hi Mike sorry for calling you Ian, doh! I hope you don't mind me posting the piccie?
I think it must be said, this is one very fast car, if I ever see it in my mirrors I'll be pulling right over!

Don't spose you'll be at Croft?

Logiclee,

it could well be!!!!! i know the trick, an extra injector in the exhaust accompanied by an extra spark plug linked to a different coil...

...sparks in the exhaust, fuel in the exhaust, HUGE flames, and if you download the mpeg file, over about 14 seconds it spits flame less than every second!!!!

looks amazing, but like you say, if its not actually due to the power of the engine, is it _really_ all that impressive???!!!!
