I am sure that Harj and John will join me in saying a big thanks to you Simon, for taking us to Brunters today, for some sideways action, awesome powersliding and doughnutting.....
It has to be said that it was the best laff I have had in ages......now I REALLY love my Cossie.
Most memorable action (caught on video camera, by the way):
* Simon performing AWESOME powerslides in the 22b
* Simon performing AWESOME doughnuts in the 22b (This is mega hard in a 4x4, especially on tarmac!!!!!!
* Simon TRYING to fall out of Johns Westie, TRYING to get out!!!!!!
* John for being the doughnut KING!!!! (believe the storys are true about John and Doughnuts!!!!!!!!!)
* John for making the MOST smoke.
* John for extracting 2 foot flames during a doughnut!!!!!!
* John for making us laff, when he lost his cap...........but forgetting to keep his hands on the steering wheel, while in mid powerslide, trying to retrieve it!!!!
* Last but not least, Don Palmer for showing us how to powerslide a Porsche at some mental speed!!!!!!!
It was a shame it wasnt MEGA wet, and anytime you want me to show you Simon, how to powerslide a Cossie properly, just give me a bell.
I have some mega frames I can capture, so as soon as I get to PC world tomorrow to get a capture card, I will MPEG some of the video and get some stills (perhaps you can host them on scoobynet, simon?).
Once again thanks alot simo. I cant wait for the next outing!!!!!!
Shaun.

Cool day. Thanks to Rich for letting me play in his STAGGERING 22B.
I have driven a few of these now and I still think his MUST be the best one around. The most fantastic car to drive on the limit. It truly is a outstanding car!
Thanks to John for not killing me!
Bruntingthorpe also want to thank you for coating their entire runway in rubber!! Never seen anyone take so quickly to doughnuts! The cap thing was one of the funniest things I've seen in ages, you must REALLY hate having a cold head!!!
Apologies to Shaun for not doing a very good job of his Cossie. Glad you made up for it though with a couple of LOVELY powerslides.
Shaun, let me know about the footage / stills. I'll host them, not probs. I'll still kick you @rse though!!
Cheers

i've just got back in from a Mega weekend away, big grins all round.
Friday was fun, driving Richards 22B round Oulton Park in the wet, such an easy car to drive quickly, just love the torque on that engine.
Stayed at Harjs over the weekend, thanks for the hospitality m8.
Fixed my westfield saturday morning, luckily no major damage done at the ring, phew!!
Saturday afternoon, totally bonkers. Unbelievebly i have never done any dougnuts before as i always drive on track or rally stage and doing dougnuts isnt called for.
Must say my westfield is so easy to dougnut its rediculous, best bits were watching the exhaust throwing flames out whilst spinning on the spot, never had chance to see the flames before as i am usually doing 100MPH plus.
Biggest tyre smoke moment was coming straight from a 70MPH 3rd gear powerslide into an instant dougnut still in 3rd and watching the speedo go over 100MPH whilst going round in tiny circles at 2MPH.
I can oficially say my car has more power than grip LOL
Simon De Sideways is without doubt the best Scoobie driver around when it comes to powerslides and doughnuts, the 22B was just poetry in motion, wish i could drive a scoobie like that, sheer class.
And yes, i do hate having a cold head, obviously i care more about that than i do about controlling a 60MPH powerslide. LOL
Thanks si, great day. Now get the video footage up, i want to see my tyres melting.
