Well the BM lasted a record 2 months, but I'm back! EVO6 with a host of HKS and Blitz goodies.
Quite impressed with this so far, even had a blat this afternoon with a F355 Spyder.
Needs coilovers and 19s I think

I think it went along the lines of...
"Nothing is better than my Scoob."
"My BMW is better than a Scoob."
"My EVO V is better than any BMW."
"My P1 is bettter than any EVO."
"My TVR is better than any Scoob."
"My BMW is better than any TVR."
"My EVO VI is better than anything."
Next week who knows what will be better, I personally can't wait to find out!
POC sorry if I have missed one of the cars you have had this year out!

THree things i dont like about your car..
1. It's a mitsi
2. Those skanky red mud-flaps
3. The gear stick, get a nice chrome one or something.
On the positive, silver is a good colour..... Good effort.
Peace Out

Mate, you are desperately in need of a life. I am known for being stupid with money, but you seem positively like an idiot with your cash compared to me.....
Cheers,

IanW - c u on the 5th mate, not decided on the flaps myself, think they really do need to go.
AndyC - I traded the TVR for the BMW and just chopped the BMW for the EVO6
dhorwich - power wise this is up a few bhp on the V I had, handling wise etc its about the same as they are basicaly the same car. However this is sitting on std suspension whereas the V was running HKS stuff, I am looking to change this to coilovers.
AndiThompson/MATTeL - Every car has its pros and its cons, some are better than others in very different ways, I challenge you to sit in a new BMW and say its not better than a scooby in any way! Who knows what may come along next week
ScoobyDoo22b - Agree on all those points, apart from the fact its a mitsi, could be worse, could be a scoob
Mr Footlong - Thanks for your opinion. I dont see why everyone feels the need to comment on the money every time I change cars. If you look at the cars Ive owned (esp the last 4) they are all pretty much in the same price bracket (c.£22k). It costs me nothing to sell one car and buy another for roughly the same price. I have not lost a penny on any of these deals, the only thing that takes the ££ out of my pocket are mods and fuel, same as they do with you.
I suggest before you openly call me an idiot you get some basic facts right instead of spouting your inaccurate assumptions on a public BBS!
Personaly I love cars, always have done. You only live once people, I intend to live that life as fully as I possibly can, the rest of you can sit down and worry about money etc, personaly I dont give a f*ck and Im gonna have a bloody good time!
Cheers lads
Paul
PS: Anyone wanna buy some crack?

It's just that NOBODY needs to change car like every other month mate. The hassle of changing insurance constantly, ownership docs, risking losing money, getting used to just how one car handles, then learning a completely different car the next day. I don't see how you can do whatever you do for a living properly when all you seem to think/go on about is cars constantly mate. Not healthy. Keep changing cars every other other day by all means, but why keep telling us on here and then get the **** when the **** taking predictably comes in?
Don't post it up if you don't want the bad along with the good mate.

ownership docs - 2 mins to fill out a form and send it off. Takes a 5 min phone call to cover the insurance.
risking losing money - not if you know what you are buying and are carefull. but you are right, risks are there, but going through life without taking any risks is just not possible.
getting used to just how one car handles, then learning a completely different car the next day - Variety is the spice of life mate..... boredom is crap
I will make the decison to change cars in minutes (as my firends will testify) if something better comes along, I dont spend 24/7 thinking about cars, again your unsubstanciated asumptions astound me..... you obviously know me very well.
I tell you lot on here because this is a site full or friends and car enthusiasts, I would like to think they would have a basic interest in the same things as I do. I personaly love looking at other peoples cars in this forum.
Don't post it up if you don't want the bad along with the good mate. - Well, I dont really understand why you feel the need to publicly air you opinions, is it not enough to sit in front of your screen and call me an idiot?
Anywho, this is beginning to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Leave it here please, Im not interested in any more of your opinions.

Alright nutter.
I am merely commenting on this because in quite a few ways we are very similar, but I see when I am going over the top with repeated similar purchases mate I personally couldn't change cars so quickly, when I buy one, I like to really get to know the beast and appreciate it's good/bad points, before I get the inkling to change again.
Variety is indeed the spice of life mate, but just imo, I think you are a little mad
Hopefully you will find the right car one day mate
I think that my gf would have a had a breakdown if I changed cars as frequently as you
Peace,
Nick

Like your new toy poc!
Can't believe people are giving you stick!
when I get to they 22k mark buying cars (which one day I will) I'll be doing the same as you, changing cars as much as I can until I can live with 'the right one'.
I started with a 300 quid golf and worked my way up and now have a scooby! (many others on the way, 3 GTi-R's, 3 cossies, etc) & i'm only 25 so in a few years I might be tempted to post a pic of my evo 7 or new impreza. But after some of the stuff said on here probably feel reluctant!
Members gallery would be 'new owners' gallery if we all kept the same cars!

POC - I wasn't having a go, if I was going to I would have done it over e-mail/MSN/to your face!
I was mearly pointing out the cars you had had this year and your rough comments after each one. I agree whole heartedly that all cars have pros and cons. The Impreza (which ever model) is not the best car in the world, nor (by any stretch of the imagination) is it the worst.
Your finances are your own business and I agree you might as well enjoy your money while you can.
I'm lookng forward to the next car!
