Just fitted my STi5 struts, Pi springs and 4 pot brakes (painted and matching rears too). Together with my new Prodrive ST2 wheels. Pain in the *** to fit 'cos of th age of the car (MY93 WRX) with all the rusty bolts but worth it in the end! Please ignore the small rear wing, im picking up my Prodrive WR wing next saturday having been repaired after two ***** tried to rip it off my boot lid (cost £250 to repair the wing and £150 to fit a new boot lid..... *******s!!!!!!!)

What do you think?

Tony.

Nice..

I think black classics tend to look a bit tacky really, but that doesnt, kinda subtle style, very nice.

Tacky...... me........ never .

I know what you mean tho, it did look a bit naff when i had gold alloys on it. Especially with the old orange indicators!

Looking tasty
How much hassel was it to swap out the rear struts? My my95 wrx is knocking on the r/n/s I suspect or rather hope its the top mount, but fear it may be the strutt itself which means doing both rear sides. Ive swapped the struts on a pug 205 but the scoob is a diff kettle of fish and Im only an average garage mech with normal tools. Just a trolley jack, stands and my own brute force

If i can do it anybody can . Basically three small nuts on the top of the strut (need to take the rear seat out) and then two big bolts on the bottom of the strut. These can be a bit rusty so get a big breaker bar. Then you need some spring compressors to swap over the springs to the new struts. Simple really as long as the nuts come lose!
