New Impreza Owner - 'Blob' WRX SL
Hello, my first post on here.
After years of owning slow diesel cars despite being a big petrol head, I started hankering after something a bit more interesting. Told the missus I needed a practical 4-door family car when our baby arrives and pointed out that Imprezas have Isofix etc.
I've just bought this - a 2003 WRX SL with heated leather sests and sunroof. The spec is a bonus but was by no means the decision maker. It was just the best of all the ones I looked at and test drove.
Its all standard apart from the tailpipe, which releases some of the boxer burble without waking the neighbours. I think. I wonder if anyone on here recognises the car?
I absolutely love the car and its great to be driving something fun again.

Nice but trust me very soon you will be driving it with all the care of a transit van. Trouble is you get used to the power of a car so quick then you just want more! Get a decat and map to liven it up!
