You have had a car for 5 years and have not made any claims yet have no NCB?

Why? That just makes no sense. You will not get a decent quote (if anyone will quote you at all) if you don't have any no claims bonus.

That's a bit of an oops.

As Gear Head says, regardless of the length of time you've held your licence, you aren't qualifying for any NCB - so you're effectively paying out as a new driver.

Additionally, you won't be quoted by any of the specialist firms recommended on here because they require that you have verifiable proof of being insured on such a performance car (ie at least 1 year NCB) for at least 12 months, 18 months in some cases.

You'll have to take the plunge and fork out for your first full annual insurance policy. It'll be the only way you can build up NCB and enjoy reduced premiums in the future.

As above no no claims = high premiums
Not sure what there like for no no claims people but try Chris Knott insurance, there pretty good for me
