got sony xplods at the moment not bad... but what would you recomend me to go for ?

don't bother, get some proper speakers up front! 6.5"components.

What's wrong with the Sonys? Mine are the £75 three-way ones, and I love 'em.

6x9's in the back just sound awfull, it does'nt matter what make they are. Put some decent components in the front and fade out the rears and it will improve the soundstage no end. Better still even add a sub, nothing boomy, but just to fill in the low end stuff the other speakers cant reproduce.

it was already fitted when i brought the car! took it to some car audio place in my area and he said i got some infiniti speakers at the front! mine are 3 way aswell mate! sound is not bad but not a fan of sony

No, lots of folk aren't

Can't understand it myself, I picked mine in a blind test, and haven't heard anything I like better since.
