Default Blow through MAF setup

My car is off the road and i have to pull the engine apart to investigate a knock. I had a little bit of money set aside to change from my Power Fc over to Syvces. Problem is now the money has to go on the motor and im stuck with a Z32 MAF that has topped out. I have been talking to a friend of mine who gave me a few ideas but dont know what to do for the best. He has previously rehoused Z32 intenals into a Q45 body to give more scale. He said it worked fine and had about another 150ish bhp head room on top of the Z32 but the low end did not read to well so had to jack the idle upto about 1200rpm to stop it stalling out. Second option was to go for a blow through MAF setup. After talking about all the pros of this setup i think i want to give it a go. I know a few people on here are running it this way but the is not a great deal of info to be found through the search button. I have seen some FMIC kits that move the MAF to one of the intercooler pipes and people report it to work very well. They all seem to be for the newage MAF and what i wanted to know is if given a choice what MAF would you run and why? The MAF will be mounted in a 86mm ID steal pipe and needs to be able to read upwards of 600bhp.

Thanks in advance

Craig

Thanks for all the links mate. The first one does not look ideal and would not cope with the boost i want to run or read enough air for me. The second link was posted by my mate lol, no info on that really. 3rd link had more questions than answers. 4th link was good thanks. Seems the new age MAF might be the one to go for and jolly green monster seems to be the guy that would know.

I am going newage maf setup as it's the most robust maf and a much cheaper option than a maf less ecu.

My Z32 has been solid for the last 5 years i have just run out of scope with it. Dose any one know what the newage MAF will flow / read in say a 90mm ID pipe?

What's the max limit on the new age MAF in the standard housing? About 450'ish as well?
