My Classic one says
UNISIA JECS MADE IN JAPAN, and was a fat thing.

Other stuff on it are A42-646055 12V 4Z08G.

My standard one has a black top and metal (grey) underneath.
I fitted a Walbro to mine.
Easiest way to compare a Walbro vs standard is the standard is a can of coke, where a Walbro is a can of Red Bull.

See the one in mine is about the same as a redbull can but Iam sure it isn't uprated as it looks exactly the same as a standard one on eBay hmmmm

My genuine Walbro was within 1-2mm the same size as the original. Walbro pump has got the symbol printed on the side. Should be easy to see.

Cheers for that mate mine is no where near as big as that although not sure if it is a pump fitted out of a newer model as mine looks exactly same as this http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/vie...314283&index=0

yeah my Walbro was only slightly smaller than the original.
Main way to tell the difference is the walbro is a noisey bugger when it primes and the standard is almost silent.

Yep, know what you mean. Hear it every time I start the car now. Otherwise you just cant tell.

Fish it out the tank and check if it has the Walbro stamp on the side. Only way of being sure!
