Default all advice welcome! i broke my scoob!

hey, as i said i broke my scoob! doh!

oil ran low n the bearings have gone. have been quoted around 3000 for a rebuild at a local scooby dealer but have also seen cheaper options i.e. recons.

i dont know where to start and would appreciate any advice.

Give API OR FB Tuning a PM or ring mate, both will sort you out with good builds for less than the stealer's price

API do a fixed price menu for a rebuild so no surprises

https://www.scoobynet.com/traders-co...i-engines.html

They are not the only option but very well respected, they have a pick up service, and can do bacon butties as well.......

Cheers

Go for a rebuild, recons may seem cheaper but a steam clean and some silver paint doesn't exactly fit the bill! (smr engines for example).
