Default can bodywork experts have a look please...

This is the rear arch on my baby...

Can any bodywork experts give me their advice;

Reshell the car, some slight laquer peel on the roof, and some rust around the sun roof, though nothing major.

Fibreglass and paint.

Cut out and weld in a new panel.

I have heard prodriverrules has a bodyshop??? I would be interested to hear your oppinions on this, and a quote for work possibly...

Ouch!
I think your going to have to cut alot out to get that back up to standard, it may be worth reshelling the car but then it may happen to that shell so a full respray may be a better option, though not cheap but its really bad, dunno how you let it get that bad in the first place or did you buy the car like that? The second I saw small rust bubbles on the arch (along the inner bit that folds into the arch that collects all the crap ) I had that done, and they needed to take it back to metal for 2 inches above the arch before treating and respraying.

I bought it in September last year, it was nowhere near that bad. Funds were tight back then so i said i would get it fixed in the new year 2011. But the snow in the winter really hammered it bad.

I was thinking of a re-shell, can pick up a good one cheap as chips these days. A weekend spent swapping everything over and the jobs a good one.

Alright mate,that is quite bad but repairable the main concern there seems to be the inner arch panel has started to corrode as well.
You would need to have an arch repair panel and a little bit of inner arch put in which i would fabricate,is the other side the same by any chance?

Would all depend how bad it really was once i started to cut away the rot but a rough estimate would be £350ish,i would blend the door and corner of the bumper too so no colour difference problems.

Mine went there. I had a plate welded in to sort it. That lasted about 7 months then bubbled next to it. So i had it sorted again but this time he took all the arch out and welded an escort mark five arch in and a few plates on the inner arch. He's shaped it so you cant tell any difference.
