Default which turbs?

i know this has been asked a million times but obvously everyones spec is different

I have a 1999 subaru sti import, i am looking at changing the standard vf28 turbo as im after abit more power.

hopefully around the 360bhp mark with a little less torque as i dont want to push my gearbox to far.

my question is which turbo would be suit my car something not to laggy but also with decent top end.

my spec is
99 subaru sti import red top
standard internals
front mount
induction kit
walbro fuel pump
avcr
apexi fc
straight through exhaust

VF34 if you can find a good one secondhand or new 18G. Not a VF35 as that is not a big enough step up.

I have to agree with Harvey, VF34, cracking turbo, much prefer these over Mitsubishi alternatives.
