Default Potential BHP....?

Hey guys,

My cars just finished having a few goodies fitted down at Chris Palmer Motorsport, few things where knackered so had too be replaced (decat, lamda sensor and uprated panel filter) was wondering if you all thought the mods sounded good, and if possible what power figures i could potentially achieve...

Car is being mapped tomorrow by Bob Rawle ;-)

RCM headers and up-pipe
RCM open kneck decat
Nice new lamda sensor
Walbro 255 fuel pump
RCM induction kit (with cold air feed from bonnet scoop)
5Zigen 2 3/4" exhaust system
VF34 with uprated owen developments actuator
Prodrive 3 port boost solenoid
Dump valve blanked
ECUtek ecu remap (Bob Rawle magic touch)
Standard TMIC but with prodrive y pipe

Guidance much appreciated...

Should see about 340 BHP, i think your maf and injectors will restrict things to around the 350 bhp mark

Maf shouldnt affect things at all, as there are many cars around running 450+ with standard MAF.

so long as i break the 300 barrier i shall be happy :-D

hopefully got an engine in mind to be buying and putting in later on in the year :-D (currently running over 500bhp)

with regards too dump valve being blocked, have been advised too.
plus the VF34 is a ball bearing turbo so can happily run without a dump valve.

Thought the IHI VF turbos are a bit weak and may get killed during compressor surge?

Certainly should see North of 300 bhp.

If the maf hits 5 volts which usually happens around 350 it can't be scaled for any more gain mate.
That said a classic with 350 on the quick spool of the vf 34 will make for a very fun and quick car mate good luck with Bob

Good news and bad news from mapping.

Good news is that the car pulled like a train.... But on e bob started to put 1.4 - 1.5bar thru engine the clutch started slipping :-(

So have too wait now too have updated exedy clutch fitted and then the final stages of mapping can be finished :-D

Roll on Tuesday!!!

I'd like to see about these 34's as looking into more power.

What is the spool like?
