Open bonnet look at intercooler and on the right bolted to the suspension turret is a black cylinder with two pipes going to it

Default Doh !

Well i stand corrected. Thought that all had the bag type filter on pick up and the element. Bit of a naff design that one.

The filter bag by the pick up is still there on the 06> cars.
There's no room for the fuel filter (& screen wash tank) by the pass. turret as the air pump takes up the space on Hawkeyes.

it should be part no. 42072FE030 for 2.5 cars and goes in the fuel tank.

That Ebay item is the filter that goes by the passenger turret on pre 06 2.0 litre cars.

Buy one mail order from the likes of RCM and flog the other one.
I can't believe a dealership cocked up over this.

The walbro sits in extra the same place as the std pump.
