Default Engine coolant temperature sensor location

I've been trying to find this sensor but with no luck.
I've printed off the service procedure page that tells you to take off the resonator chamber and there's a picture of the sensor but I can't match the picture to anywhere on the engine. The only electrical connection I can find is to the fuel rail.

Does anyone have a photo of the location of this sensor? Or can someone describe where this sensor is on the engine?

I have a 95 wrx.

Its located on the rear of the coolant cross over pipe (follow the top hose back) near the turbo .
Two sensors together - engine coolant sensor and temp gauge sensor(single wire).

Brown one for the ECU.
Single terminal one for the temp gauge.

Thanks for all your help I managed to do it this afternoon.
It was still tricky to get hand down and take the electrical connector off.

Does anyone know where this sensor is located in a GRB vehicle (2008 STi)?

Edit: I've found it, it's on the alloy pipe that runs on top of the block.
