I've been trying to find this sensor but with no luck.
I've printed off the service procedure page that tells you to take off the resonator chamber and there's a picture of the sensor but I can't match the picture to anywhere on the engine. The only electrical connection I can find is to the fuel rail.
Does anyone have a photo of the location of this sensor? Or can someone describe where this sensor is on the engine?
I have a 95 wrx.

Its located on the rear of the coolant cross over pipe (follow the top hose back) near the turbo .
Two sensors together - engine coolant sensor and temp gauge sensor(single wire).

Does anyone know where this sensor is located in a GRB vehicle (2008 STi)?
Edit: I've found it, it's on the alloy pipe that runs on top of the block.
