no, dont be worried (assuming warm idle is 34 and not when caning it)
Think subaru quote much lower figures than this, was a thread recently and the subaru book pressures are quite low (IIRC think it was only 1 bar on idle 14.7psi or thereabouts)

and while I am here the temp sticks at 140F / 60c stationary and 100F / 37c whne I am moving... but it has been cold....

GF took the pics last night.. while I was driving...
60mph less that 2500rpm and 100+ Psi
I still think thats a huge amount of pressure, must be a way to reduce this..

Muerde to put thinks into perspective.
My 1992 classic on original engine (from what I can tell) with just over 150k has oil pressure around about the same as yours, touch wood its fine (apart from a slight airleak)
As Dan says what grade are you using, where is the gauge getting its reading from? is it on the existing oil pressure switch or is it taken from a sandwich plate on the filter? If its a sandwich plate on the filter then check the oil levels as it would have been refilled when fitted.

You should only see huge pressures like that at cold start up, never once the engine's warm. The oil pump has a relief valve in it (or should) to stop the oil pump from over-pressurising the oil at moderate to high revs. If you're seeing high pressures like that in any conditions except the first few minutes after a cold start, you've either got a problem with your oil, a problem with your gauge, or with your pump. It's NOT normal.

Now thats the kinda responce I was expecting, ok what can I check, the release valve must be the first thing? can that have got stuck shut? And I guess their is ppotential that the gauge is wrong!!
Tomorrow I will chekc the pump the valve.. I am going to assume the gauge is correct for the time being... can I stick some engine diagostic on which might tell me?
Cheers

Well mine has been as described above for 18 mnths now with no problems what so ever...... its been covered so many times here that anything above idle even when fully warm the pressure reads very high..... id be gobsmacked if there is anythig wrong at all with those readings.
Although will say i do ot run an expensive set of guages like delfi's.so might have a bearing
