Bob and his magic! Best mapper...
Well, what can I say except thank you thank you thank you BOB!
He's just finished the setup of my AVC-R and gained me a further 5 bhp and 22 ft/lb of torque (think that's the right figures, waiting for the graph) and its earlier in the rev range which is mint.
Car goes like **** and power slides (as a biker on a big cc bike found out on the way back to Bob's! lol
)...EGT's are around 830-860 mark
, engine no longer smells at all hot and even the intercooler pipe just before the inlet manifold is cool to touch after a proper burn
(thanks partly to water injection I guess).
Just need to sort out a different actuator for my hybrid turbo now as the existing one from lateral opens at .7 bar and Bob recommends 1.2 bar to open...this will improve things still and reduce the boost drop from 6,000+ rpm - Boy does Bob know his stuff.

Bob's then going to do a tweak on the AVC-R and I'll post the results early June...Bob's so in demand its crazy!

Hi Monkeysan,
Its a black art m8, I only understand half of what Bob (my magic mapper) did...He set it for in gear learning, then set gears to static engine revs for all 5 (6th runs the same as 5th) - you'll need two in the car to do this safely.
He then setup duty for each gear and max boost settings, plus lots of other bits which looked good on screen lol. The duty settings is key and Bob also sorted a problem with boost fluctuation on full chat but not sure how he did that. Best speak with bob at BR developments as setup is decent price with him.
