Default Tuning possibilities for Hawkeye WRX & STi

Did i just read correctly in a Jap tuning mag that GRD or similar name will tune STi to well over 400 lb ft with simple exhaust, filter and re-map for less than £1500 + vat - Anybody have contact details - also anybody know what their Hawk WRX level 1 offers? - Do TSL, Silversone or Powerstation offer similar / better packages? - Anybody have genuine reason to doubt safety of such huge hikes in power?

The car featured was running a few other modifications which JP failed to print

Boost activated intercooler water spray
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Cold air feed to standard airbox
Heat wrapped exhaust downpipe
Fuel: Shell V-Power with Millers Octane Plus Octane Booster

From a reliabilty point the car featured has done close to 10,000miles since the modifications were carried out with no reliablity issues!

We have also acheived similar figures from UK 2006 WRX of around 350HP/400FtLb with the addition of VF34 turbo and Hyperflow top mount intercooler, again with no reliablity issues.

not sure - only criticism was exhaust too loud - they used a straight pure race exhaust apparently - not suited for a daily driver perhaps!? - Must be fairly radical on timing and boost to get that much more power than other tuners and need booster

We do quote between 335BHP - 350HP for our stage 1 2006/7 Sti package as some customers may choose to either not run octane booster or go for our sports cat exhaust system, both of which will have a negative effect on performance. We haven’t found our de-cat exhaust to be any louder than our competitors however our sports cat certainly dampens it further!
