Default Where should I get a Re-map?

Hello all,

Got quick question for you all. I am thinking of getting my 1993 Jap WRX re-mapped. Is this my best or safest option, is this my only option, and could anyone recommend my nearest competent garage? I'm in Stoke-on-Trent.

Thanks.

Not too many mods. Full exhaust, no cat. Green panel filter. As far as i'm aware that is it.

Cheers. Will give them a call and see what they can offer.

Is this my best option. What power do you think it will return?

Forget TSL!!!

Great at taking your money, absolute shower when things go wrong.

Give Richard Bulmer at tracktive a ring.

I see no ones actually mentioned that you can't remap a 1993 car....

It's going to be an ECU change job.

Apexi PFC or LINK IMO

Andy F for the Apexi
Bob Rawle for the LINK.

What about the piggyback chip like the scoobyecu Fuzz? Agreed not as good, but much cheaper.

scoobyclinic do a chip and map though for the early cars similar to a scooby ecu but it is mapped on your car on their rollers for the mods you have, think it is around about £500 but imo it is probably better spending an extra few hundered for the apexi

i figured he'd know that and meant a change of ecu which is why i also suggested Bob for the LINK
i also heard that the clinic can map pre 98 scoobs
