mine done the same. was watching something else first. went to put it on and started part way through. think it's more a case of bbc farting around because of the tennis.

Sky had actually moved the start of top gear to 8;30 for the tennis to overrun, the BBC decided to end the tennis at 8.

Just even more reason to ban tennis, waste of 2 weeks if you ask me
It's repeated on Wednesday I have set sky+ for then.

Ours missed the start of it too
We've also had very poor signal strength during the hot weather. Anyone else had the same?
